An increase of 36% in number of fans for the first round compared to last season

 

The first round of the Etisalat Pro-League for the 2011/2012 season has achieved a remarkable and significant attendance in the six games played so far that come to a total of 26,594 spectators, compared to the number of attendances in the first round of the last season, 2010-2011 which amounted to 19,526 spectators, and an increase in the number of fans was 7338 spectators with a percentage increase of 36.2%. in the numbers of fans this season, Al Jazira retained their top position in terms of the number of spectators at Mohammed Bin Zayed since last season, as 11,865 spectators attended their game against Al Ahli  in the first round this season, followed by Al Ain- Al Nasr encounter in  the second place which was held at Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Stadium in Qattara and attended by 5322 spectators, then Al Wasl and Sharjah game played  at Zabeel Stadium in third place and was attended by 4313 spectators, then  Ajman and Bani Yas match which was held at Rashid Bin Saeed, Stadium attended by 2136 spectators. The match between Al Shabab and Al Wahda played at Maktoum Bin Rashid Stadium was attended by 1536 spectators, while 1422 spectators attended the match between Emirates and Dubai in Ras Al Khaimah.

The average attendance for the first round matches of the league this season, was 4432 spectators, while the average attendance in the first round last season, was  3254 spectators, an increase of 36.2%.

The Al Jazira and Al Ahli match was the highest in the number of spectators, which ended in favor of defending champions with a 4-0 win, where Al Jazira have encouraged the masses and attracted them to come to the stadium as they did in the last season. Five tickets were drawn and the selected persons competed among themselves in Barclays’ kick, and the possibility of winning a Nissan car Jock that costs 100 thousand dirhams. In the same context, the Emirates Club’s management in Ras Al Khaimah have adopted the same approach in encouraging spectators to attend the match between their team and Dubai, in which they won 2-1, where RAK Airways provided tickets, as promised by the club's administration to provide more awards during the next matches to encourage the fans to attend their games.
