Important and fateful matches in the professional league ninth round matches

The Etisalat Pro League 9th round for the season 2012-2013 will launch on Friday, November 23 with important and fateful matches where Al Nasr will host their counterparts Dibba Al Fujairah at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai at 4:45pm. Both teams emerged winners in the last week when Al Nasr beat Al Wahda 4-1 and Dibba Al Fujairah defeated Al Wasl 2-1. Al Nasr are runners up with 17 points and Dibba Al Fujairah are at the bottom of the standings with only 4 points.

In the second game, the hosts Dubai will face Al Ain who are sitting on top of the table with a record of 19 points while Dubai are 7th with nine points. The game will also be played at 4:45pm at Al Aweer Stadium. The visitors will try to continue their winning streak to reserve their league leadership. They scored 35 goals in 8 matches to remain the strongest offensive line while the hosts will try to prove the strength of their defense line as they conceded only 9 goals since the start of the competition.

 In the third encounter of the day, Al Dhafra will travel to Sharjah to take on Al Shaab at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in an unpredictable match. Al Shaab are in 11th place with 6 points while Al Dhafra are sitting in 8th position with 10 points. 

The matches of the first day will be concluded with a high profile game when Al Wahda face Al Ahli at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi, kick off at 8:00pm. Both squads have 15 points each with Al Ahli sitting one step ahead on goal difference.

The remaining games of this round will be held on Saturday, November 24 with three matches. Ittihad Kalba will play the starting game of the day against Al Jazira at their home pitch; kick off at 4:40pm.

On the other hand, Ajman who outclassed Al Shaab 3-1 in the previous round will play Bani Yas at the latter’s Stadium in Al Shamkha at 4:50pm. Despite of holding Al Ahli to a draw in the last week, Bani who will miss their goalkeeper Mohammed Gholoom for suspension, need a win in this game so as to be in the heart of the competition.

In the concluding match of round 9, Al Wasl will meet Al Shabab at Maktoum bin Rashid Stadium in Dubai at 8: pm. Al Shabab are staying in 12th spot with only five points while their rivals Al Wasl have 10 points that classify them in 9th position.
