New Year's Resolutions in Round 9

It is true 2011 is coming to an end in few days, but the competition is certainly not. The Etisalat Pro League teams have set their new year's resolutions, the 3 points and where they stand on the league table, hopes and dreams are still open as we are still less than half way to the end,
The 2011 last strive on the pitch will commence this Thursday 29 December with Ajman facing their counterparts Al Shabab at Ajman Club Stadium 4:55 pm, Al Nasr host Al Jazira at Al Maktoum Stadium 4:55pm, and finally Al Ahli meet Sharjah at Al Ahli Club Stadium 8:00 pm. While another 3 final 2011 matches to continue on Friday 30 December within round 9 of Etisalat Pro League competition.

Ajman vs. Al Shabab
Al Shabab holding the 3rd place on the league table with 15 points have the ambition to welcome the new year with a better position, unluckily with 5 points difference from Al Ain the league summit is still something to fight for in 2012, but still to end 2011 in the 2nd position with the one point difference from Al Jazira is highly possible. Ajman on the other hand have showed a standard performance so far, with 9 points and coming 8th on the league table, the orange have the spirit playing home before their fans and audience to fight hard, yet they will be missing Ahmed Al Yassi who was flagged out in their last match before Al Ahli.

Al Nasr vs Al Jazira
It is said to be the toughest match in round 9 and the most crowded. Al Nasr have hope to welcome 2012 in the second position too, it is hard way to go though, yet not impossible, with 14 points on the league table Al Nasr have to play hard to snatch the 3 points first and Ajman have to do them a favor as well. On the other hand it is never an easy game for Al Jazira who is occupying the second place with 16 points, after two consecutive league-defeats, both Al Nasr and Al Shabab have the chance to compete over their place, Al Shabab have better chances though in case they won over Ajman. So how is it going to be? That is definitely worth the wait to watch.

Al Ahli vs. Sharjah
Thursday final match is never less exciting than the others, both teams have the spirit and the reasons to play hard for the 3 points, the 2009 league champions who are 7th on the league table with 10 points are looking forward to retrieve their winning history and Sharjah who are 9th with only 8 points are desperately fighting to escape the danger zone.
