Emirates face Ajman and Al Nasr host Bani Yas
The Etisalat Pro League 7th round matches will be concluded on Saturday evening, December 10 with two games when Ajman host Emirates at Rashid Bin Saeed Stadium at 4:45pm and Al Nasr face Bani Yas at their home ground, Al Maktoum Stadium, kick off at 8.00pm.
Ajman are looking for a second win so as to move away from the bottom of the table zone. They maintained their first win in this season when they beat Dubai in their six round away match played at Al Aweer pitch which put them in 8th position with 6 points.
Their opponents Emirates team, were defeated by Al Jazira 4-0 in the sixth round match, a loss which put them in a critical situation and classified them second from bottom with only 3 points from a lone victory over Dubai in the first round. They lost afterwards in five successive games and that forced their former Tunisian coach Ghazi Al Gharaeri to apologize for not being able to continue his post as a coach for the club's Senior Football Team and he was replaced by his countryman Boumnijel (Goalkeepers coach).
In the second match of the day, Al Nasr will host Bani Yas at Al Maktoum Stadium in the last match of the 7th round. The hosts will face their rivals with high morals after beating Al Ahli and Sharjah in the last two games in which they netted 9 goals which was a big proof of the strength of their frontline. But Bani Yas have improved their performance in the last period after the Argentinean Calderon took over the coaching stint since the last game against Al Ain which ended with a 2-2 draw. Bani Yas are sitting in 7th spot with a balance of 7 points.
