Dubai and Al Jazira host Ajman and Emirates; Al Wasl and Al Shabab in a derby game
The six round first day matches of the Etisalat Pro League will be played on Saturday December 3 when Dubai take on Ajman at their pitch in Al Aweer, kick off at 4:45pm. The hosts have only two points which put them at the bottom of the ladder. Dubai are trying to benefit in this encounter from the advantage of playing at home in front of their fans. Ajman have three points, the same balance of both Al Ahli and Emirates, after being disappointed in their last match against Al Jazira who were 3-1 down and came from behind to beat their rivals Ajman 4-3 to snatch three invaluable points.
In the second match of the day Al Jazira will host their counterpart Emirates at Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi at 4:50pm. The hosts are endeavoring to retain their leadership as they currently sitting on top of the table with 13 points, while Emirates are taking 10th position with three points.
Both Dubai-based teams Al Wasl and Al Shabab will play the third match of the sixth round first day at Al Wasl home ground at 8.00pm. Al Wasl have 10 points in the second spot, two points ahead of Al Shabab, who have a postponed match at hand due to their previous participation in the GCC Clubs Championship and are taking 4th place. The two squads, Al Wasl and Al Shabab, are expected to play a thrilling game.
