Al Nasr host Al Wahda; Al Ain face Dubai; Al Shabab take on Al Ahli
The Etisalat Pro-League third round matches will be concluded on Saturday and Sunday where Al Nasr will host Abu Dhabi-based Al Wahda at Al Maktoum Stadium, kick off at 4:55pm. Al Nasr's lineup will witness some changes after signing Amara Diane from Ivory Coast and resigned Brazilian Careca to replace suspended Bangoura and injured Tennerio. Al Nasr have one point in their balance after a draw with Ajman in the second round and a loss to Al Ain in the first round. Al Wahda have the same balance of Al Nasr following their 1-2 loss to Al Shabab and a 2-2 draw with Al Ain.
In the second match of the day, Al Ain will host Dubai at Al Qattara Stadium at 8.00pm. The game is expected to be full of excitement as Al Ain have four points after beating Al Nasr and drawing with Al Wahda and they endeavor to be with the competing teams for the top spot, while Dubai will start the game with one point in their balance after a draw with Al Shabab and a defeat to Emirates, and they are seeking to come out with a positive result as a loss will put them in a critical position with the teams sitting at the bottom of the standings.
The third round matches will be completed with a derby between Al Shabab and Al Ahli on Sunday evening, October 29th at Maktoum Bin Rashid. The two sides will meet three times in one week, after having played their 26th GCC Clubs Champions league and President's Cup first leg match and they will meet on next Thursday in the second leg match of the same competition.
The hosts have four points, the same that of Al Ain and Al Jazira and to stay within the zone of the competing teams, they must win the three points. But Al Ahli's situation is slightly different, as they have three points in their tally after winning against Emirates and losing to Al Jazira in the opening game. But any loss of more points will push them away from the competition zone.
