Etisalat Pro League Round 10 Match Preview

The strive on the pitch continues this Thursday 5 January 2012 where Al Wasl meet their counterparts Dubai at 5:00 pm on Al Shabab Club Stadium Maktoum bin Rashed instead of Zabeel based on the recent Disciplinary Committee decision No.161, Bani Yas host Al Ahli home at 5:05 pm on Bani Yas Club Stadium in Al Shamikha- Abu Dhabi, and Round 10 closes with the exciting local derby Al Jazira vs. Al Wahda to take place at 8:00 pm on Mohammad bin Zayed Stadium within the Etisalat Pro League competition.

Al Wasl vs. Dubai
The football legend Diego Maradona has not been recently so satisfied with his team performance after the dramatic 2-1 league-defeat before Al Wahda. Playing a home match on Al Shabab Stadium after the Disciplinary Committee decision does not meet the expectations of the emperors who feel much stronger fighting on their own pitch. With 12 points in the table, the match put Al Wasl to the test to fight hard to see them through the competition. On the other  hand Dubai with 5 points gifted from the Disciplinary Committee after the decided 3-0 victory over Sharjah in Round 8 still have to overcome their last 2-1 league-defeat before Bani Yas in Round 9 and it will do them well to raise their points to 8.

Bani Yas vs. Al Ahli
A tough fight between the 7th and 8th place occupiers, Bani Yas coming 8th on the table with 10 points have got their spirit back after beating Dubai in Round 9 and with the efforts of Adnan Hussein, Senghor and Saleh Haboush they target another rewarding 3 points, while Al Ahli coming 7th on the table with 11 points after their 2-2 league-tie before Sharjah in Round 9 count on the return of their significant forward Ahmed Khalil and Midfielder Tareq Ahmed to compensate. It is a match that is said to be fierce and how it ends is certainly unpredictable.

Al Jazira vs. Al Wahda
A league threatening exciting match at the end of Round 10, the 2011 league champions Al Jazira might face a dramatic drop on the table to the 5th place if Al Wahda won and Al Nasr successfully made it over Emirates. Undoubtedly that will give the defending champions a very high fighting spirit on the pitch just to not let that happen. Al Wahda coming 4th with 16 points are overwhelmed after their 2-1 victory over Al Wasl and with the return of their top goalkeeper Mutaz Abdulla after the Round 8 suspension in the match before Bani Yas have all that it needs to move forward on the league table and to put them face to face with their defending champions tough rivals Al Jazira in a match that could not be described to be less than breathtaking.
