Al Benzarti: second half-season new plan
The Tunisian Emirates’ head coach Lutfi Al Benzarti seemed relatively relieved in the press conference held at Al Nahyan Stadium after the 2-2 draw encounter against their host Al Wahda within Round 11 of the Etisalat Pro League competition.
The 85th minute equalizer netted through the new 28 year old Ivorian forward Modibo Diarra seemed to do the Ras Al Khaima team well and gave them hope to fight harder to escape the jeopardy of the bottom of the standings in the second-half season.
“Things look hard; especially for us to survive the bottom of the table depends on the other teams’ results, we have to win 7 or 8 matches at least to stay in the competition. However our main concern now is to back up the team with qualified midfielders and defenders and we have new contracts to reveal soon.” said Al Banzarti.
