Ajman and Emirates qualify to the Etisalat Pro-League season 2011-2012

 

Ajman and Emirates teams have qualified to the Etisalat Pro-League for the next season after playing in the first division for one season following their win in the last round matches held on Tuesday May 17. Ajman outclassed Al Dhaid 3-1 in the match played at the losers' pitch and Emirates defeated Dibba Al Fujairah 4-2 at home in Ras Al Khaimah. The two winning teams have raised their tally to 37 points each, a balance that helped them to come back to the Etisalat Pro-League.

Ajman are currently on top of the table on goal difference to Emirates. The results of both Ajman and Emirates in their last round game would decide the champions of the first division league. But if they are tied with equal points, they will go into a play-off game to determine the champions of the first division for this season.

Ajman ended the first session with a 1-0 lead through Papa George who hit the back of the net only five minutes from the word go and Mohammad Abdul Kader added the second in the 58th minute. Mustafa Shaheer reduced the deficit in the 76th minute but Papa George came to make it 3-1 one minute to time securing a berth for his team in the 2011/2012 Etisalat Pro-League Competition.

On the other hand Emirates beat Dibba Fujairah 4-2 at their home ground in Ras Al Khaimah the same day. The Moroccan player Nabil Daoudi was the man of the match after scoring a hat-trick in the 8th .34th and 82nd minutes and his Al Gerian teammate Al Haj Bogsh netted the fourth goal in the 81st minute while Marcio Marcos and Diego Baidao scored for Dibba Al Fujairah in the 58th and 87th minutes respectively to end the game with a 4-2 win for Emirates.
