Emirates host Al Jazira; Sharjah face Bani Yas and Al Ain meet Al Wasl at Al Qattara
The Etisalat Cup sixth round matches will be concluded on Saturday November 19 with Al Jazira, leaders of Group "A" with 12 points, traveling to Ras Al Khaimah to take on Emirates who have 4 points that put them at the bottom of the table. The visiting team, who beat the hosts 6-0 in the last game, are insisting to continue their positive results to stay far away from Al Wasl, their nearest contenders with 9 points.
Sharjah will host Bani Yas in the second game of the day at their home ground Stadium at 4:45PM. Bani Yas defeated their rivals 4-0 in the previous match after demonstrating their strongest performance since the start of the season despite of the absence of the team's international players, but Toni and Sengahoor made the difference with the rest of the players.
Sharjah will start the upcoming match with all the hopes to demonstrate a good level of display and change their image, especially their chance to qualify for the semi-finals of the competition has become very difficult and even impossible as they have only two points. Although the situation of Bani Yas does not differ much of that of Sharjah, as they collected 4 points so far, but in terms of points they still have the opportunity to advance to the semi-finals of the competition, in case the team win in their all remaining games.
In the top match of the week, Al Ain will host Al Wasl at Qattara Stadium, kick off at 08:00 PM. Al Ain who have 7 points in their balance, are seeking to revenge during this game for their last defeat from Al Wasl with a sole goal, especially that they will play at home and in front of their fans and need the points to become the second in the Etisalat Cup first group. But Al Wasl will not be easy rivals, even if playing outside their home ground as they have 9 points that classified them in second place behind leaders Al Jazira, and a draw will keep the difference between the two teams as it is.
