Al Nasr beat Dubai 4-0 to move to third position

Al Nasr maintained a big victory with four straight goals over their counterparts Dubai in the Etisalat Cup fifth round match held tonight at Dubai Stadium in Al Aweer to move to third position in the first group with a record of five points against three points for the losers who slipped to fourth place prior to Al Ain – Al Shaab game due to kick off tomorrow at Tahnoun bin Mohammad Stadium in Qattara.

The two sides demonstrated a balanced first half with some attempts made by Al Nasr, but Dubai performance developed afterwards through Simon and Ahmad Mallah’s movements for the two teams to end the first half with a goalless draw.

The winners took the lead only three minutes after the break through Jamal Ibrahim and his teammate Humaid Abdullah made it 2-0 in the 62nd minute who was sent free with Mascara’s long pass. Humaid Abdullah came to net the third goal two minutes later and Hassan Mohammed concluded the rout in the first minute of stoppage time.
