Ajman beat Dubai 3-1 to maintain first win in Etisalat League

Ajman maintained their first win in the Etisalat Pro League following their 3=1 victory over Dubai in the match played this evening at the losers’ pitch in Al Aweer. The winners moved two steps forward to take 7th position with 6 points while Dubai remain at the bottom of the table with two points from two draws to remain the only team who are yet to open their account in the  Etisalat Pro League. Dubai scored the first goal two minutes into play off a penalty kick when Ajman’s defender Ahmed Ibrahim touched the ball with his hand inside the box and Hassan Abdul Rahman made no mistake when he sent the ball into the left hand side of the goalkeeper. Ajman leveled the score in the 25th minute through their defender Abdullah Hassan and they came to control the midfield zone afterwards. Tore squandered two successive chances in the last minutes of the first session when he was sent free for the goalie Jamal Abdullah to save bravely in both occasions. But the goalkeeper Jamal committed a sever errors in the 63rd minute when he failed to clear the ball away at the edge of the box for Ibrahima Tore to collect the ball and sent it into the empty net scoring the second goal. Hassan Matooq netted the third goal for Ajman in the 71st minute to end the game with a 3-1 victory for his side.
