Dibba Fujairah v Bani Yas Pre-Match Press Conferences

Bani Yas coach Josef Chovanec is not worried about facing a buoyant Dibba Fujairah side following their shock victory over League leaders Al Ain in the last round, and the Czech manager insists Bani Yas are well prepared for the game. “We respect Dibba Fujairah and are aware of their strengths; defensively they are organised and rely on hitting opponents on the break with rapid counter attacks. Their performances have improved considerably since the second stage of the Etisalat Pro League began, as they have been working together to escape relegation,” he commented.  Bani Yas will seek a good performance and positive result as they continue to strive for the highest possible position in the table. They currently sit 3rd in the League with 34 points, whilst Dibba Fujairah remain rock bottom on 10 points.

Meanwhile, Dibba Fujairah boss Dr. Abdullah Misfer claims his bottom-of-the-League side have ‘nothing to lose’ as they face another fixture from which they are not expected to get anything. The manager says his players are in high spirits following their incredible victory over Al Ain in the last round, and he attributes his team’s recent improvement to the introduction of some major signings made in the January transfer window, as well as a general improvement in the players’ technical and physical performances. In team news, Misfer welcomes back Brazilian Alex Medeiros to the starting lineup following an injury, but goalkeeper Mohamed Alrowaihy misses out as he serves suspension for picking up his third booking.
