Brazilian Patrick Alves signs for Dubai to replace French pro. Hanayni

Dubai Club have signed a three-year contract with Brazilian striker Patrick Elvis piano (24 years) as the fourth professional player to play for their Senior Football Team in the upcoming season. The new player will replace French player Ayman Hanayni who signed a contract with Dubai Club before a couple of weeks, but the deal was terminated after the performance of the player did not satisfy the aspirations of Argentinean coach Rolando.

Patrick Elvis had played last season with Al Khaleej Club and he was the top scorer of the team. He netted 44 goals in all appearances during the season, 25 goals of the total came in the Federation Cup championship and 19 goals in the first Division League Competition.

Dubai Club, who scaped relegation to First Division by the end of the Etisalat Pro-League, have now completed their signings for the new season. They signed before with Kalba's former French pro. Simon, Fawzi Ayish from Bahrain as an Asian player and renewed the Guinean professional player Abu Bakr Kamara's contract who played for the team in the previous season.

The Argentinean coach Rolando was quite convinced with the technical standard of the Brazilian striker Patrick Elvis saying that he is an excellent and dangerous striker. The coach said: "I know the player thoroughly well   as I coached him in 2007 when he was playing for Bolomng Santa Cruz in Bolivia League at the age of 19 years where he was selected the best second player in the competition. He played afterwards in Brazil and Mexico, before moving to Al Nasr of Kuwait two seasons ago, and from there he came to UAE to join Al Khaleej Club in last season".

The technical body of Dubai Football Team hopes the players would come up with good results in the new season. The team will play a number of friendly games during their warm up camp.
