Bani Yas present new signing Luis Fariña

Bani Yas presented new signing Luis Fariña to media at a press conference in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. Fariña, an Argentinian attacking midfielder, joins Bani Yas on a one-year loan deal from Portuguese giants Benfica. The highly-rated youngster said of his move: “I am happy and excited to be at Bani Yas and I have a great ambition to help the team win titles during my time here. I hope to impress the coaching staff, management and fans.” Fariña, who is 22 years old, began his career at Argentina’s Racing Club, where a string of strong performances lead to the playmaker gaining attention from European clubs. He signed a 5-year contract with Benfica this summer but will spend his first season at Bani Yas to gain valuable playing experience.
