Bani Yas hold Pakhtakor to a 1-1 draw

 

UAE Pro League club Bani Yas snatched an invaluable point following their 1-1 draw in the AFC Champions League against Uzbekistan club Pakhtakor Tashkent. Pakhtakor has drawn first blood when midfielder Dilshod Sharofetdinov scored in the 29th minute giving his side an early lead. However forward Mohammed Fawi equalized the result for the Emirati club in the 60th of the second half and secured a point. The result puts them on top of the group with four points so far with Pakhtakor having collected their first lone point from two matches.
