Bani Yas sign a two – season contract with Mohammed Zidane
Bani Yas Club have signed a two – season contract yesterday with Egyptian striker Mohammed Zidane former player of both German teams Borussia Dortmund and Mainz at the premises of the club following a three- day negotiations to join their Senior Football Team starting from the upcoming season. The two sides have signed the contract in the presence of Saif Al Khaili Vice Chairman of the club’s Board of Directors. Mohammed Zidane underwent on Sunday successful medical tests under the supervision of the medical body led by doctor Majid Al Hilali.
On the other hand Mohammed Zidane and his agent expressed their happiness with the compromise they have reached with Bani Yas Club which demonstrates the support of the club and its Board of Directors to the professional football players of Arab origin and their interest to develop and promote the UAE and Arab football to the highest international standards.
Mohammed Zidane assured that his move is a part of his personal plans through which he aims to play a pioneer role in supporting sport and the youth sector at the level of the Arab world. He denied the reports published in the media about the value of his contract with the club confirming that his transfer was not for financial reasons.
