Bani Yas plan ahead for pre-season

Bani Yas’ Board of Directors have planned a pre-season training camp for the squad, to take place in Austria from 12th-29th August in preparation for the 2013-2014 football season. The training camp will be used to assess and improve the players’ fitness following the summer break, and a full program for the preparation period will be developed by the Club’s Technical department.

The Club also confirmed that Abdullah Al Harthy, a former Bani Yas player with a long-standing love for the Sky Blues, has been appointed Team Manager. Speaking about his new appointment, Al Harthy thanked the Board of Directors for putting their faith in his ability to perform such an important role, and added: “The coming season will require a great deal of work to ensure that we continue making the progress of the past few years. We will all work together to build on our Gulf Clubs Championship-winning success and to achieve our targets set for the upcoming campaign.”
