Asamoah Gyan moves to Al Ain with a four-season deal
Al Ain Club administration has successeded in getting the approval of the English club Sunderland regarding the movement of the Ghanaian star Asamoah Gyan "26 years" to join their Senior Football Team under a four-season contract.
The former Sunderland Club striker played for Al Ain in the previous season on loan basis and helped the team to capture the league championship after a gap of 8 years. This encouraged the team's Roman coach Olaroiu Cosmin to ask the Club's administration to keep the player so as to continue the last season's prominent successes of the team in the forthcoming season.
On the other hand, the international striker, Gyan, expressed in many occasions his satisfaction with the ideal atmosphere he lived with the UAE League champions, Al Ain, before succeeding in winning his first championship ever since the beginning of his career which he had started with the Italian Club Udinese, for the desire of the player to play a pioneer role in completing the permanent transference deal to Al Ain.
Gyan scored 27 goals in local competitions held in the last season and participated in 18 league games in which he netted 22 goals that put him on top of the professional League scorers.
