Al Wahda beat Al Shaab 6-1 to top First Group
Al Wahda are on top of Etisalat Cup First Group for this season following their 6-1 win over Al Shaab in their second round match held tonight at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi while Al Shaab are still to open their account.

Salem Jasim added the winners’ third goal only two minutes after the break when he headed home the cross ball that switched by Mohammed Al Shihhy and Nasser Khamis of Al Shaab reduced the deficit in the 57th minute to make it 3-1.
Salem Saleh netted the fourth goal with a perfect header in the 64th minute and Mohammed Al Shihhy and his Brazilian colleague Marcelinho added to the woes of Al Shaab team when they scored two successive goals in the 75th and 84th minutes off a penalty kick and a shot from inside the box respectively to give their side a 6-1 victory.
