Al Ain sign a five-year contract with Al Shabab’s defender Mohammed Ahmed
Al Ain Club signed yesterday a five-year contract with UAE Senior and Olympic Football Teams and Al Shabab’s full right back Mohammed Ahmed starting from next season 2012- 2013 up to 2016-2017.
The negotiations between Al Ain Club and the player did not take long time where Al Shabab club management expressed its rapid consent to the transference of the player against the purchase of Al Ain’s goalkeeper Ismail Rabei’s card. The Al Ain’s Romanian coach Olaroiu Cosmin has nominated the player to join Al Ain team after his conviction with his technical and physical high abilities and the need for his efforts in the right side of the defence line.
Mohammed Obaid Hammad – Supervisor of Al Ain Senior Football Team assured that Mohammed Ahmed is an important addition to Al Ain team due to his excellent capabilities and experience in the UAE Senior and Olympic Teams, pointing out that he was among the names set by the Al Ain Romanian coach Olaroiu Cosmin within his options for the next stage.
Regarding the Argentine professional player Scocco, Hammad said that the agent of the player is currently in Qatar and will come to Al Ain city in a few days to resolve the matter once and for all, especially which the player’s contract will end after two seasons.
