Al Wasl sign a two-season contract with Metsu to replace Maradona

Al Wasl Football Company has signed a two - season contract with French coach Bruno Metsu to supervise their Senior Football Team starting from the next season 2012/2013 as a replacement for the team's former Argentinean legend coach Diego Maradona. The club's administration will hold a press conference in the upcoming days to introduce officially their new coach to the media.

It is worth mentioning that, Metsu had coached Al Ain Senior Football Team and achieved the AFC Champions League 2003. He also led the UAE National team to capture their first GCC title in 2007. Moreover, Metsu had worked with Senegal National Football Team and helped them to qualify to the 2002 World Cup Finals.

Metsu had also worked with Ittihad Jeddah of Saudi Arabia and the Qatari side Al Gharafa was his last stop in his coaching career.
