Dibba Al Fujairah v Al Wahda Pre-Match Press Conferences

Dr. Abdullah Misfer says his Dibba Al Fujairah players are buoyed by their recent good run of results, having recorded wins over Al Dhafra and Al Ain and taking a point from Al Jazira, and this run of form bodes well for the side as they continue their fight to stay in the Etisalat Pro League. Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Misfer said that his team goes into the game in high spirits and with determination to get a positive result from the game, which will kick off at 5:45pm on Saturday at the Fujairah Stadium. The Emirati coach urged the Dibba Al Fujairah fans to turn out and support their team in what will be a tough fixture against Al Wahda, not least because the Abu Dhabi-based side still have a top-four finish in their sights.

Al Wahda’s Branko Ivankovic also predicted a difficult game at his pre-match press conference, especially as Dibba Al Fujairah will be playing in front of their home fans, taking an all-or-nothing approach as they try to escape relegation. “We will do our best to play well and win, despite suffering from many absences. We must win to keep up our hopes of finishing in the Champions League places,” Ivankovic said.
