Hickersberger: My focus will be on our defense

Hickersberger Al Wahda Austrian head coach stressed the importance of their upcoming match against the league top table Al Ain to be held on Wednesday Februaray 8th in Tahnoun bin Mohammad stadium in Al Ain at 8:00 pm within the Round 13 of the Etisalat Pro League competition.


“The players love a game like this, big audience and supporters and the high competition between both teams. My focus will be on our defense to face our rivals’ pressure and attacks.” said the coach.


“Ismael Matar and Mahmoud Khamis are ready to be on the team list, while Haidar Ali, Mohammad Al Shiba who suffered a knee pain and Al Shehi did their trainings individually and will not participate. As for the Olympic team players I will stand at their fitness status and decide whether they can be on the pitch or not.” he added.


When asked about Al Ain’s local star Omar Abdulrahman he said: “His return gives strength to our opponents’ attacks, that’s why I asked my team to be completely focused on the defense to come out with a good result.”
