Dubai-based Al Shabab maintained a 2/1  victory over Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia to capture Al Riyadh's International Football Championship in their final match played last night at Al Malaz Stadium in the Saudi capital Al Riyadh. Al Shabab returned back home today morning, Friday, August 19th from Saudi Arabia. Al Shabab were the first to hit the back of the net through Brazilian professional player Jociel Da Silva, "Ciao"  only three minutes into play when he hooked the ball over the head of the advancing goalkeeper Khalid Al  Sharahili into the empty net. But Al Hilal's   midfielder Mohammad Al-Shalhoub leveled the score in the 30th minute when he shot a dead ball but deflected by a player into the net. Al Shabab's players continued their efforts afterwards which resulted in the second goal scored by Essa Obaid, in the 65th minute. Al Hilal were  rewarded a penalty but their Moroccan striker Yousuf Obaid failed to score in the 67th  minute squandering a valuable opportunity for his team to bring the game back to the first square.
