Brazilian Paqueta and Tunisian Al Banzarti lead Al Shabab and Sharjah

The Brazilian coach Marco Paqueta has signed a contract with Al Shabab Club to lead their Senior Team’s technical body in the two upcoming seasons. Paqueta (53 years) replaced his countryman Paulo Bonamego who terminated his contract and joined Al Jazira club. Paqueta finalized the procedures in the presence of Saeed Khalifa Al Marri, CEO of Al Shabab Football Company and Abdullah Al Suwaidi, the club’s director of professionalism. The Brazilian coach is back to his former club Al Shabab after 23 years as he coached them from 1988 to 1989. Al Shabab was his first experience in the GCC region.

On the other hand the Sharjah’s Interim Committee headed by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al Thani has reached a compromise with the Tunisian coach Fawzi Al Banzarti to supervise the team in the next season. Al Banzarti will prepare the team for the quartet tournament which will determine the two teams who are to join the professional clubs next season.  He has returned back to coach Sharjah again after an absence of 10 years as he led them in season 2001-2002.
