Walter Zenga: We are well prepared for the test

Al Nasr Italian coach Walter Zenga assured in the press conference held at Al Nasr club on Tuesday that his players are ambitious enough to make amends for their last 0-1 defeat before Sepahan in the first round of the AFC Champions League and they are ready to host their Qatar rivals Lekhwiya in the second round of the competition at Al Maktoum Stadium this evening at 8:00 pm: “My biggest hope is to see my team showing their fighting spirit and make things good in today’s challenge. We are one family and working together in a truly friendly atmosphere. We need to win to improve our chances.” he said

“The Qataris started well after earning a valuable 1-0 home victory over the Saudi giants Al Ahli. I know our opponents have top players from Cote D’Ivoire and Algeria in addition to international coach of good repute, but this is not everything. Al I have to say is that we are well prepared for the test and the players are in their best mental and morale condition to do pride for their nation.” he added

John Christian: AFC Champions League is a tough competition

John Christian Lekhwiya’s reserve team coach replaced the Algerian head coach Djamel Belmadi who could not receive the AFC coaching license required for the competition. Christian assured that his team is ready for the game but AFC is a tough competition and demands special physical training different from any other local competition. “I know Al Nasr very well, they are a big team, but still we are here to win, we had a good start before Saudi Al Ahli and we intend to continue that way.” he said
