Al Nasr and Al Ahli in a derby match; Al Wahda host Dubai and Sharjah face Bani Yas

 

The Etisalat Cup fifth round matches will be completed on Sunday November 13th with Dubai-based derby game when Al Nasr host Al Ahli at 4:50pm at Al Maktoum Stadium. Al Nasr have 4 points from four games that put them in 4th position in Group "B" while Al Ahli have 7 points and are classified in third spot. The visitors will face their rivals with a new look after dismissing their former Czech coach Ivan Hasek and signed the Spanish coach "Quique who will lead Al Ahli in his first official match.

In the second match of the day, Al Wahda are set to meet Dubai at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi, kick off at 4:55pm. Dubai are trying to catch up the leading teams in Group "B" as they have collected 6 points from 4 matches that put them in 3rd place while the hosts Al Wahda are classified at the bottom of the table with three points. Al Wahda's Austrian coach Hecksberger has declared earlier that this competition is only a preparation for his team for the other championships in which they are taking part.

In the concluding match of the fifth round, Bani Yas are to host Sharjah at Al Shamkha Stadium in Abu Dhabi at 8.00pm. The home team will play the game with high morals after maintaining their first win over Emirates in the 4th round of the Etisalat Pro-League under the guidance of their new coach Salim Al Orfi. But Bani Yas are sitting at the bottom of Group "B" in Etisalat Cup with a single point from four games. Sharjah's situation is quite similar to that of Bani Yas as they have only two points from four matches and are taking second position from bottom.
