Al Jazira head coach Luis Milla says a win is their only option in Wednesday night’s AFC Champions League Match Day 5 game against Tractorsazi Tabriz. Al Jazira still have an outside chance of qualifying to the final 16 of the competition, but three points at home against the Iranian side is a must in order to keep the journey alive. “We are going into the game to get a win; there is no alternative, because this is the only way we can keep up hope of making it through from the group stages,” Milla said at his pre-match press conference. “I have studied Tractorsazi Tabriz well and know all the ins and outs of their team. We will both be fighting to win to maintain our chances of qualification, but I have great belief in the capabilities of my players to get all three points, especially as we are high on confidence since winning in the League on Friday,” the Spaniard added.

Tractorsazi Tabriz head coach Toni Oliveira compared Wednesday night’s game to a final, as the match will signify the end of one of the side’s qualification hopes depending on the result. “I have studied Al Jazira well and we will have to fight until the very last minute of the match in order to achieve our goal, which is to win,” he said at his pre-match press conference in Abu Dhabi.
