Al Shabab first to the Etisalat Cup finals
The Dubai-based team and the 2011 Etisalat Cup Champions Al Shabab are one step away from the title this season and are the first to qualify to the Etisalat Cup 2012 finals to be held in May after beating the defensive champions Al Jazira with a spectacular 4-0 victory in the encounter which took place in Mohammad bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi this evening at 5:45 pm within the semifinals of the Etisalat Cup Competition.
The match was sealed by the greens from the very beginning, their 4th minute early goal netted through Villanueva’s header gave the Dubai Side the power to control the game and put the hosts to the test to try to overcome their new changes and fight hard to compete.
Ciel scored for his side through a penalty in the 29th minute and again added his second goal and his team’s third also through a penalty in the 40th minute after being hindered inside the box from Jumaa Abdullah who was sent off making things harder on the Abu Dhabi side and to end the first half with a 3-0 victory for the visitors.
The second half was not much different than the first; Al Shabab continued to create a lot of scoring opportunities while Al Jazira seemed to surrender. The match final score was netted through Adel Abdulla in the 81 minute.
