Al Jazira start title's defending campaign with a 4-0 win over Al Ahli

The defending champions Al Jazira started their march with a 4-0 win over Al Ahli in the match played today evening at Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi in the first round of the Etisalat Pro-League for the 2011-2012 season in frot of 11865 spectators. Oliveira scored two goals and Diaky and Bary netted one each.
The Belgium coach Franky Vercauteren started the game with a line up including Khalid Essa as goalkeeper, Lucas Neil, Juma'a Abdullah, Abdullah Mousa and Khalid Sabeel in defense, Khamis Ismail, Ibrahima Diaky, Delgado and Subait Khatir in midfield while Abdullah Jasim and Ricardo Oliveira spearheaded the attacking line.
Al Ahli's coach fielded in Yousuf Abdullah as keeper, Abdul Aziz Hussain, Yousuf Mubarak, Saad Suroor and Khalid Mohammad in defense, Tariq Ahmed, Ismail Al Hamadi, Amir Mubarak and Jimenez in the midfield zone with Jaja and Graffiti playing in the offensive line.
Al Ahli came close to score only four minutes from the start when Jaja sent a strong volley that rebounded off the cross bar for Lucas Neil to reply with a real chance but Al Ahli's goalkeeper saved bravely three minutes later. The home team netted their first goal with a header from Ricardo Oliveira six minutes before the break off a cross ball sent by the Australian defender Lucas Neil, for Ricardo to score the first goal of the game.
The winners added their second goal via Brazilian Oliveira in the 53rd minute. Diaky netted the second goal in the 62nd minute off a penalty and the Brazilian substitute Bare concluded the rout scoring the 4th goal in the 75th minute to end the match with a 4-0 victory for the home team. Khalid Mohammad of Al Ahli was shown the red card after he touched the ball with his hand depriving Al Jazira of scoring their third goal.
