Al Jazira sign a two-year contract with the Australian Lucas

 

Al Jazira Club have signed a two-year contract with professional Australian defender Lucas miles  who was playing before for Galtasaray of Turkey to join their First  Football Team, champions of the Etisalat Pro-League and the President's Cup for the last season. The new pro. will play alongside duo Brazilians Ricardo Oliveira, Barry and Argentine Delgado starting from the upcoming season 2011/2012.

On the other hand, Al Jazira's new Belgian coach Frank Vurnqton arrived in the capital Abu Dhabi accompanied by his assisting technical staff. Frank will replace Argentine coach Alejandro Sabella in training the First Football Team. Sabella violated his deal with Al Jazira Club after reaching a compromise with the Football Federation of Argentina to coach his country's National Football Team. His assisting technical body includes assistant coach, fitness trainer and English goalkeepers' coach. Al Jazira's new technical body  have started their stint only 24 hours from their arrival as they led the training session conducted on Thursday evening August 18th .

It should be noted that Al Jazira will organize an International Football Tournament which is due to kick off on Saturday August 20th and continue up to 26th of this month.  They played recently two friendly matches in the framework of their preparations for the next season beating both Al Dhafra and Kalba 4/3 and 4/1 respectively.
