The winners came from behind when they were two goals down to turn the table on the face of the visiting team brining the game to a 2-2 draw before coming afterwards to come out with a big victory. The hosts created a number of scoring chances but they were in lack of concentration.

Al Dhafra came to score their second goal only 15 seconds after the break via Boris Kabi to make it 2-0. Inspired by their two goals, the visitors played brilliantly, but it was Brazilian player Bare who pulled one back to reduce the deficit in the 56th minute before defender Juma'a Abdulla came to level the result scoring the equalizer ten minutes later. His teammate left full back Abdullah Mousa put Al Jazira in front for the first time when he netted the third goal in the 71st minute.
