Al Jazira host Al Ahli in a strong match; Al Shabab face Al Wahda and Dubai meet Emirates in Ras Al Khaimah

The matches of the 4th edition of the Etisalat Pro- League for the 2011-2012 season will commence this evening with Emirates Team hosting Dubai at their home ground in Ras Al Khaimah at 06:35, while Al Shabab will take on visiting squad Al Wahda at Maktoum Bin Rashid Stadium in Dubai, kick off at 6:40 pm. The last game of the day will be held at 9pm when Al Jazira face Al Ahli at Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Emirates face Dubai

The Emirates team were promoted from Division "A" League after just one season spent in the amateur league where they showed brilliant performance in the AFC Champions League against strong teams, and had it not for the lack of experience, the team would have moved even further than the stage groups.
The Emirates Team set up a warm up camp in Tunisia, under the supervision of the Tunisian coach Ghazi Al Gharaeri. They supported their team with a number of stars: Guinean Al Hassan Keita, Moroccan Mohsen Metwalli, Iranian Bujman Nori and Nigerian Orak, in addition to new local players: Khalid Darweesh of Al Wasl, Mohammad Ali Omar of Al Nasr, besides Ahmed Al Shagi, Khairy Al Hammadi, Malik Ahmed, Idris Fawzi, Khalid Mohammad, Faisal Ahmed, Haitham Ali, Abdullah Ali, Mustafa Saeed, Harib, Mohammad, Abdullah Faraj and Ahmed Abdul Hamid.
On the other hand Dubai who are pleased with their 5-0 victory over Al Wasl in the Etisalat Cup last week, devour to confirm that this victory over Al Wasl did not happen by mere luck. They will seek to open their account with three points, and the team hope to repeat the scenario of the second round of the league last season, where they achieved great success that helped them to stay in the Etisalat Pro- League, after finishing last season in 9th place.
The team are led in the league of this season, by Romanian coach Marin Awan and include some good stars led by the Guinean player Abu Bakr Kamara and his compatriot Simon Vandono who played last season to Kalba, Moroccan Nabil Daoudi, Bahrain's Fawzi Ayesh along with: Ahmed Salim, Jamal Abdullah, Kazim Ali, Ahmed Malalla, Ismail Ahmed, Mohammad Ismail, Mohammad Hassan, Hassan Abdel Rahman, Kayed Abdullah, Waleed Khalid, Yousuf Mohammad, Mohammad Ibrahim and Ali Hassan.

Al Shabab meet Al Wahda

Al Shabab are technically stable since last season, as they retained their three pros. Chilean Villanueva, and the two Brazilians Ciel, Julio Cesar, and added Uzbek Haydarov who is considered an important addition to the midfield zone of the team besides Ismail Rabei, Abdullah Darweesh, Walid Abbas, Mohammad Ahmed, Essam Dhahi, Essa Mohammad, Sami Anbar, Adel Abdullah, Essa Obaid, Suroor Salem and Dawood Ali.
Al Wahda are also stable  in technical and administrative aspects and are led by coach Joseph Heksberger with  their former  Brazilian trio: Bayno, Hugo and Magraow, along with Al Wasl's former defender Mohammad Al Shaiba from Oman besides: Ismail Matar, Motaz Abdullah, Adel Al-Hosni, Hamdan Al Kamali , Essa Santo, Basheir Saeed, Khalid Jalal, Mahmoud Khamis, Yaagoub Al Hosani. Al Wahda will miss the efforts of Omar Ali and Talal Abdullah for injury, and there is doubt in Magraow and Hayder Alo Ali's participation due to injury.

 Al Jazira host Al Ahli

 In the last match of the first day, Al Jazira, the defending champions will host Al Ahli winners of the first edition before three seasons. The match will be played at Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium in the capital Abu Dhabi and both teams are seeking for a win. Al Jazira's Belgian Frank Vercauteren has started his mission this season replacing Brazilian Abel Braga, who led the team to win League and Cup titles last season and his task in today's game will not be easy.
The home team are led by Ibrahima Diaky, Argentinean Delgado, Subait Khatir, Abdul Salam Juma'a, Abdul Rahim Juma'a, Khamis Ismail, as well as the front liners namely Brazilian duo Oliveira, Barry besides Australian defender Lucas Neill, Juma'a Abdullah, Sami Rabei, Saleh Obaid, Khalid  Sabil, Abdullah Mousa, Khalid Essa and Ali Khusaif as goalkeeper.
The visitors Al Ahli have contracted with a new coach and new foreign players, and dismissed their former coach, as well as the expatriate players. The team's coach Ivan Hasek from Czech had led Al Ahli to win the first edition of the Etisalat Pro- League in the 2008-2009 season, and then preferred to return back home to head the Czech Football Association, and when summoned by Al Ahli this season, he did not hesitate to accept their offer.
The management contracted with the new stars after the team finished 8th last season. The stars who will lead Al Ahli this season are: Brazilians Adinaldo Batista (graffiti) and Jackson Avellino (Jaja), Chilean Luis Jimenez and Lebanese Yousuf Mohammad, in addition to the players: Yousuf Abdullah, Obaid Al Taweela, Mohammad Qasim, Khalid Mohammad, Saad Suroor, Tariq Ahmed, Ali Hussein, Amer Mubarak, Obaid Khalifa, Ismael Al Hamadi, Faisal Khalil. Ahmed Khalil may not take part due to injury.
