Vercauteren: We don’t hold on to the past

Vercauteren Al Jazira Belgian head coach assured that it is not going to be an easy game facing their capital opponents Al Wahda who are doing a great progress lately after beating Bani Yas and Al Wasl.


The Belgian boss stressed in the press conference that was held at Al Jazira club in preparation for the upcoming derby to take place at Mohammad bin Zayed Stadium within Round 10 of the 2011-2012 Etisalat Pro League competition that he is working hard to overcome the mistakes of the last three matches before (Al Shabab- Al Ain – Al Nasr) and help his players gain their confidence.


“I felt my team's hunger to win again in our trainings, we don’t hold on to the past and that is the mentality I am looking for” he said. Then added: “The management and I have not discussed the winter transfers so far. I have not delivered my report yet, and if we found out together that we need to do some changes we are going to do it.”
