Al Jazira and Al Wahda are getting ready for the Super Cup match

 

Both Abu Dhabi-based Al Jazira, champions of the Etisalat Pro League and the President's Cup for the previous season and Al Wahda runner up of the President's Cup, are set to battle it out in the Super Cup match scheduled for Saturday September 10th at Bani Yas Stadium- Al Shamkha. The two teams will resume their training programs today evening as their players were in a one-day rest yesterday. Al Jazira will conduct their last training tomorrow evening from 6:45pm to 7:45pm at the match ground in Al Shamkha while their opponents Al Wahda will continue training at their home pitch from 7.00pm to 8.00pm.

Al Jazira arrived yesterday from Doha after a short warm up camp organized there and they will start after today's training session a three-day camp in one of the hotels in Abu Dhabi. The UAE Senior Team's  three players of Al Jazira Subait Khatir, Khalid Sabil and Ahmad Juma'a are likely to join today's training following their arrival from Beirut where they participated in the game against Lebanon which was played last Tuesday in the Asian qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup and ended with a 3-1 victory for the home team. Their Australian professional player Lukas Neil who took part with his National Team in the Asian qualifiers match for the 2014 World Cup, will also train today. But at the same time Al Jazira will miss the efforts of goalkeeper Ali Khusaif, Abdulla Mousa, Ali Mabkhoot and Ali Salim Al Amry for injury and National duties with the UAE Olympic Team.

Al Wahda line up will also have some elements being absent from the game due to injury among whom are Esmail Mattar, Hamdan Al Kamali, Hydar Alo Ali besides Basheir Saeed whose participation is doubtful as he is not fully fit, but at the same time their coach Hecksberger will have back UAE Senior Squad players Mahmoud Khamis, Mohammad Al Shehhy, Essa Santo and Saeed Al Kathery.
