The Saudi team Al Hilal humiliate Bani Yas with a 7-1 win

Bani Yas crashed out of the AFC Champions League after losing to the Saudi team Al Hilal with a 7-1 win in the home match held tonight at Prince Bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh. The two teams played with great care, but the first 20 minutes did not see any real chances except only one which was squandered by the South Korean striker Yoo Byung Soo in the 19th minute. But Byung compensated for this chance only four minutes later when he headed home the ball which was launched by his Swedish colleague Willhelmsson that rebounded off the goalkeeper Mohammed Khalaf. Willhelmsson came to make it 2-0 in the 26th minute with a strong right footer.

The home team dominated the match after scoring two goals looking for more goals while Bani Yas made every bit of effort trying to reduce the deficit.  But it was Al Hilal who made their dreams come true netting the third goal via Yoo Byung Soo in the 37th minute when he benefited from the cross ball sent by  Willhelmsson from the right flank to make it 3-0. Both Al Hilal and Bani Yas failed to add more goals in the last 8 minutes to end the first half with the same result.

The Saudis netted their fourth goal through Yoo Byung Soo seven minutes after the breather and Bani Yas pulled one back when Sultan Al Beeshi brought down Fareed Ismail inside the box for a penalty and Yaste made no mistake to make it 4-1 in the 55th minute.

The losers committed a number of defensive mistakes which were well capitalized by Willhelmsson and Yoo Byung in adding two more goals in the 58th and 61st minutes respectively putting the game beyond the reach of the visiting team.  Nawaf Mubarak was unhappy to see his shot rebound off the upright and Salem Al Dosary netted the 7th goal in the 85th minute. Saleh Al Minhali was shown the red card two minute before the final whistle of the game which ended with a 7-1 victory in favor of the Saudi team Al Hilal.
