Al Ain's coach Gallo admitted the difficulty of today's match, stressing the need to achieve victory and return with three valuable points in order to fight against relegation. Al Ahli's Abdul Hameed Al Mistiki said, "I am a professional coach and therefore must give up all my emotions when I lead my team in any game. We have big ambitions and a desire to win, but we must be mindful that Al Ain is a strong team and includes distinctive elements that we must respect and take care of them. The matches between the two teams are always strong, but it is difficult to predict the outcome of the game."
