Al Ain sign Yassir Al Gahtani for one season on loan basis

Yassir Al Gahtani Al Hilal and Saudi National Team's striker transferred to Al Ain Senior Football Team for one season to join their squad starting from the upcoming season on loan basis. Yassir arrived on Thursday evening August 11th through Dubai International Airport and he was received upon his arrival by Mohammad Saleh Bin Bodowa member of Al Ain Board of Directors, Sulaiman Al Mahmoud Al Ain Club's Public Relations manager and a big mass of Al Ain fans. The fans were so happy, giving him a warm reception before presenting him a banquet of flowers. The player moved straight away from Dubai International Airport to Al Ain Club where he met with his ex-Romanian coach Olario Kozmin, the assisting technical and administrative bodies as well as his new teammates among whom was his former teammate in Al Hilal Football Team, the Romanian player Radoy.  Al Gahtani was received at Al Ain Club by Mohammad Obaid Hammad, Al Ain Club's Senior Football Team Supervisor who was right there on the pitch waiting for the player to arrive.

The training session was halted for several minutes to welcome the Saudi player who attended a part of the training session before leaving to his residence in Hilton Hotel. The training session was followed by Al Ain's loyal fans who were very keen to see their new player and take some photos with him for souvenir.

Yassir Al Gahtani underwent medical tests on Thursday morning August11th at Al Ain Governmental Hospital and the results approved his physical fitness. He was introduced to media by Al Ain management in a press conference held on Thursday evening along with the rest of the new foreign and local players who signed contracts with the club for the new season including: the Argentinean Skoko, Hilal Saeed Al Ain's former player who transferred recently from Al Jazira Club, Mohammad Nassir (Al Shabab), Mohammad Mal Allah (Ittihad Kalba), goal keeper Mahmoud Al Mas (Al Nassr) and Mohammed Salim (Al Dhafra). Yasser made his debut in the team's training session conducted on Thursday evening and followed by a big number of fans who came to reassure on their new player and the team as well before the upcoming season kicks off. 

On the other hand Al Ain's Team have completed their preparations for the third International Football Tournament which is due to kick off on Saturday night August 13th under the patronage of Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan the Club's and the honorary deputy chairman from August 13th to 19th at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium with the participation of Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia, Al Rifaa of Bahrain, Al Suwaig of Oman and hosts Al Ain. The home team will face Al Rifaa in the opening match while Al Shabab and Al Suwaig will meet the following day.
