Al Ain goalkeeper and Salim fly to Qatar
Al Ain Senior Football Team goalkeeper Yousuf Abdul Rahman and his teammate midfielder Salim Abdullah left today morning, Monday January 31 to the Qatari capital Doha to undergo medical examinations by doctors at the Aspire Academy. Yousuf Abdel-Rahman has started recently a rehabilitation program in preparation to return back to field after an absence of more than three and a half months due to car accident. The accident happened only 24 hours before Al Ain-Al Nasr match that took place in 2nd Round of the Etisalat Pro-League. Al Ain goalie had spent duration of medical treatment in Rashid Hospital in Dubai before being transferred to Germany where he underwent surgical operations. The goalkeeper is currently subject to a program with the team's doctor to strengthen his muscles and raise his level of fitness. . He was also subject to medical tests at Rashid Hospital in Dubai last Thursday where he met specialized doctors who assured the success of his treatment program.
On the other hand, Salem Abdullah Al Ain's midfielder who has recently returned to field after playing for 20 minutes in the Etisalat Cup Competition, has felt some pain in his knee during a training session. He has started again a new treatment program which will continue for a few days and now he is awaiting his medical test results that he underwent this evening at Aspire Academy in Qatar.
