Al Ain Football Team are back home from European warm up camp

 

Al Ain Senior Football Team players will resume their training program on Wednesday, August 3rd in preparation for the competitions of the upcoming season 2011/2012, which begins in October. The players were given three-day rest following their return on Friday evening July 29th through Dubai International Airport from their warm up camp held in Italy and Austria for 23 days.

The preparatory period was organized in two phases, where the players spent the first stage in the Italian city of Bronico and played two friendly matches against Rusconi and Palermo losing 1 / 3 in the first and 0/2 in the second.

 The mission left to the city of Logan in Austria immediately after the second game to continue the preparatory program. The team played four friendly matches in Austria winning 11/0 in the first game against Logan, drawing 0/0 against the English side Wigan, losing to Budapest of Hungary 0/2. They concluded their games with a 0/2 loss against Yanna from Greek.  . In the six games they played during the two phases of the camp, Al Ain scored 12 goals and conceded seven.

It is worth mentioning that Al Ain team organized their warm up camp in the absence of a number of their key players including Ali Al Wihaibi, Muslim Fayez and Fares Jumaa, who were in National duties with the National Senior Team who were preparing for the two matches of Indian in the Asian qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, in addition to the absence of Omer Abdul Rahman and Abdullah Mal Allah, who recently underwent two medical operations in Italy.  Hamad Al-mari, Mohammed Abdul Rahman and Hadaf Al-Amri took part in the first stage in Italy before joining UAE Olympic team's warm up camp in Austria.

On the other hand Al Ain Club are still continuing their efforts and negotiations in search of two more professional players and they are expected to disclose the names of the new players within the next few days.
