Al Ain crowned Champions of Etisalat Reserve League Competition

 

Al Ain Football Team  were crowned champions of the Etisalat Reserve League Competition on 49 points for the second successive season following their 2-1 victory over hosts Al Shabab in the game played tonight at Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai. Sanad Ali put the hosts into the lead only 19 minutes into play and Juma'a Saeed of Al Ain leveled the score in the 32nd minute. Brazilian Elias netted the winner three minutes after the break off a penalty to secure a 2-1 win for the visiting team. Al Ain's player Juma'a Saeed from Ivory Coast was shown the red card six minutes into the second session for bad conduct.

At the end of the match Dr. Matar Rashid Al Darmaki Vice Chairman of the UAE Football League along with Hisham Al Zaraoni UFL Board Member, Jaber Al Janahi Etisalat's Vice President of Corporate Communications and Carlo Nohra, CEO of the UAE Football League (UFL) gave away the trophy and the golden medals to the winners.
