Cosmin: Ajman’s defeat before Al Jazira won’t trick me

Al Ain head coach, Cosmin complained the shortness of time his team has to face before meeting Ajman on Saturday within the first half season finals in the pre-match press conference held at Al Ain Club. The time constraint after their earlier President’s Cup defeat before Bani Yas put the team on challenge to get back their fitness in such a short period and be physically and technically prepared to face their very well balanced opponents.


“We have to forget and get out of our last President’s Cup defeat before Bani Yas, our main focus now is the next league encounter against Ajman and we have to be fully prepared, luckily we are on a safe zone in the standings and Al Ain is a strong title competitor this season” said Cosmin


“ If we thought and underestimated Ajman after their 6-2 President’s cup defeat before Al Jazira then we are making a huge mistake, Ajman has beaten Sharjah 3-1 in Round 10 and they are a team with a remarkable playing mentality and have the strategy of how to learn and take advantage of their rivals’ mistakes” he added.


“We need to win this game so that we gain back our confidence and bring back joy to our fans and despite the critical absence amongst the players particularly the forwards, yet we are still going to compensate with the high concentration and the confidence we have in our team.”
