Cosmin: Al Ain able to overcome circumstances and compensate "super" absences
Al Ain Romanian technical manager Olaroiu Cosmin confirmed that their match against Al Jazira is of great importance because it is a competition for winning the first title of the season – Etisalat Super Cup. He announced this statement in the prepress conference for Al Ain -Al Jazira game scheduled for tomorrow Monday, September 17, at 07:05 pm on Al Wasl Club pitch in Zabeel.
Cosmin pointed out that his team respects their competitor, which is considered a strong opponent and includes a number of quality players, but saying his squad is able to overcome the circumstances, thanks to the players’ desire and their determination to achieve positive results. He said:” Winning tha game requires showing fighting spirit throughout the entire time to compensate the team’s absences”.
Cosmin said: "I hope to win the title to make the club's loyal fans feel happy as they form a real force to Al Ain". He stressed the difficulty of the game for both teams, explaining that they had been working as a technical body to motivate and encourage the players to demonstrate a distinctive display during the game that can help them to achieve the desired goals.
Cosmin said:” Hilal Saeed has started training with his teammates since only yesterday and we are waiting for today’s training session to see whether we can field him or not. But Omer Abdulrahman has been involved in the team’s trainings before two days while Ali Al Wehabi willt be out of the game list as he is currently undergoing a rehabilitation program”.
Asked about his opinion in Al Ain preparation program, Cosmin noted that it was concluded successfully despite of the fact that they trained with full team list only during the past 48 hours, and there were some circumstances they managed to overcome with collective work ".
Cosmin said: " The competition in the forthcoming season will be strong from the side of many clubs and Al Jazira are considered one of the strongest league teams and Bonamego can make the desired technical addition to the team, as there are other clubs, without Al Jazira, who are able to compete for the title".
On the other hand, Al Ain defender Mohanad Salem Al Anzy stressed that his team have set clear goals during the previous season and managed to achieve them and successeded in regaining the League Championship after an absence of 8 years. Al Anzy added:” We will proceed on in the same sprit which had been a milestone for our performance in achieving our objectives in the last season and the Super Cup title is one of Al Ain goals in the current season”. He Said:” Big clubs do not get affected by the absence of some key players to the extent that make them feel anxious. Our coach was keen to prepare strong bench substitutes that can be able to fill any shortage in all team’s lines. The coach is capable of overcoming all circumstances, because he can not be affected by the absence of one or two players “.
Asked about his expectations for the super game against Al Jazira, Al Anzy pointed out that he does not tend to expectations, especially when it comes to cups matches as it is a must to respect the opponent”.
