Well Done Al Ahli
Al Ahli successfully earned the 3 points they played for and scored a remarkable 2-0 victory over their counterparts Ajman in the match that took place this evening at Rashid Stadium in Dubai within round 8 of Etisalat Pro League competition.
Ajman showed slightly a better performance at the beginning and their chances to score were high. In fact both teams had their share of wasted shots throughout the first half of the game and it was until the 45th minute when Al Ahli’s Brazilian top striker Grafite scored his team's and the match first goal.
Both teams seemed more consistent in the second half to snatch the 3 points, yet the misfortunate series of wasted shots remained, only a penalty netted through Grafite again in the 84th minute put the hearts of the 2009 champions at ease. A 3-0 victory was only a shot away in the 89th minute missed by Jiminez, yet the 3 points eventually was all that mattered.
Al Ahli with 10 points now come 7th on the table while Ajman step back to 8th with 9 points
