Al Ahli present Viana, Abbas and Dhahi

Al Ahli officially presented their three new summer signings on Sunday night, introducing Hugo Viana, Humaid Abbas and Esam Dhahi to the media at the Rashid Stadium. Viana, a Portuguese international, joins from Braga, whilst Humaid Abbas and Esam Dhahi move from Al Nasr and Al Shabab respectively. Viana, who will wear the number 45 shirt, said of his move to the UAE: “I’m very happy to be here and join Al Ahli. I will try to do my best for the team and I think we can have a very good season. So far in training I’ve seen that we have a very good team and a fantastic group. We are training hard to prepare to win something in the season ahead.” 25-year-old Emirati midfielder Humaid Abbas added: “I have not come here just to change teams; I’ve joined Al Ahli to become a Champion.”
