Abdulkadir: Ajman ready to face Al Jazira's international stars
Ajman's Iraqi coach Abdul Alwab Abdulkadir insists his side is well prepared to face second-placed Al Jazira in their Etisalat Pro League Round 16 match on Thursday at 8pm. Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Abdulkadir explained: "We are entering the game in a highly prepared state after a positive training camp in Doha, Qatar. The players trained in two shifts there, to fully equip them for the remaining games of the Etisalat Pro League season."
Despite their thorough preparations, Abdulkadir knows the many qualities their opponents Al Jazira possess, with a raft of UAE national team players to choose from including Ali Mabkhout, plus international stars like the Brazilian Oliveira, who poses a great attacking threat.
Ajman will be missing a few key players for the game through injury, as Abdulkadir stated. "Ismail Al Jasmi and Ali Omar are added to the ranks, so we hope the pair will show the performances we expect from them in the upcoming matches.
