UAE head overseas for Asian Champions League matches this week

Fresh from defeat in the Etisalat Cup Final, Al Ain left for South Korea on Sunday night to take on FC Seoul in the fifth round of the 2011 Asian Champions League. The match will be held on Wednesday, May 4 at 3pm, UAE time.
The Al Ain squad that has travelled to Korea is minus some of their key players, including keeper Walid Salem, Mohammad Salim, Ali Al Wahaibi, Brazilian Elias Ribeiro, Omar Abdul Rahman, Musallam Fayez, Ismail Ahmed, Rami Yaslam, Shihab Ahmad, Abdul Aziz Fayez and Juma'a Saeed. These players will continue their training sessions at their home ground under the guidance of assistant coach Ahmad Abdullah over the coming days in readiness to face Al Ahli in Dubai on May 8, which is the postponed game from Round 16 of the Etisalat Pro-League Competition.

Al Wahda also left on Sunday to the Uzbekistan capital Tashkent, where they will face Bunyodkor on Tuesday in the fifth round of the 2011 AFC Champions League. .

Finally, Al Jazira will also leave for Doha tonight for their Asian Champions League match on Wednesday against to  Al Gharafa.
