AFC postpones Al Ain v Nagoya Champions League match

The AFC (Asian Football Confederation) has postponed the Al Ain vs Nagoya Grampus of Japan match in the second round of the Asian Champions League (ACL) due to the earthquake and tsunami that has devastated Japan.

The Nagoya Grampus team was due to take on Al Ain this Tuesday, March 15 in Japan, but the game has been cancelled because of the severe environmental circumstances in Japan.

AFC suggested rescheduling the match for March 29, however Al Ain management advised this coincides with their local matches as they are set to face Al Wahda on March 31. Al Ain are waiting for AFC to propose a new date.
