The AFC delegation visits Al Shabab and Al Wasl Clubs
The AFC delegation members paid a visit today to both Dubai-based Al Shabab and Al Wasl Clubs in the 5th day of their inspection visits to the UAE Professional League Clubs. The delegation, accompanied by the Professional League Committee members, was received at Al Shabab Club by Mattar Suroor Saqr the CEO of the club. The delegation members also visited Al Wasl Club afterwards and were received upon their arrival there by Abdullah Al Bishr the acting CEO of the club.
The delegation was reviewed by the officials of the two clubs, Al Shabab and Al Wasl, on several issues related to the readiness of the playgrounds in both clubs, in addition to the organization of the games, technical standards required, marketing and media, transportation, logistics of hotels, communications, fans attendance and all matters concerning the organization of the AFC Champions League matches next year.
The delegation will attend Al Ahli and Bani Yas match this evening at Rashid Bin Saeed in Dubai in the 4th round of the Etisalat Cup Competition for 2011-2012 season at 9pm.
The delegation will conclude their inspection tour with a visit to Al Wahda on Sunday morning before they visit Al Jazira on the same day in the evening.
On Sunday 10th, the AFC delegation will meet UAE FA and PLC Officials in a joint meeting at 9:30am followed by a workshop with the UAE clubs at 1.30pm and a press conference at Intercontinental Dubai, at 5.30pm.
